Introduction to Interactive Elements

0:00All right, so this is the fun part here.

0:07This is the thing that makes Stream Agent truly a powerful, degenerating engine

0:11for your business

0:12and for your videos, and that's going to be the interactive elements.

0:15Now, a lot of other places they're doing this stuff, they're charging literally

0:19hundreds of dollars in order to be able to apply this into your videos.

0:23We do it on our basic package, all right, this is kind of the bread and butter

0:26of what

0:27makes Stream Agent different, unique, fun, interactive, all those good things.

0:32So let's go ahead and dive in and let's check it out.

0:34I'm going to share my screen again with you here, all right, and we're going to

0:38go ahead and pull this up.

0:39Now, this is a video of me, obviously, I was doing an interview this was years

0:43ago, figured it'd be a fun video to kind of throw some stuff on top of.

Using the Interaction Menu

0:46So over here on the left-hand side, you've got your full menu system, you've

0:49got obviously

0:50all the customizable elements here, but let's go to interactions because that's

0:54really what we're looking for here, okay?

0:56So with interactions, this is great if you're trying to get people to take

1:00action, if you're

1:01trying to get people to sort of engage, engagement is proven, 80% more leads

1:07are generated through

1:08engagement videos than just static videos, so this brings your videos to life, which

1:13is really, really cool.

Implementing Action Buttons

1:14So you imagine you're just talking or you're saying something and you all of a

1:17sudden, you know, you want to throw a little button up, right, maybe you've got like

1:21some sort

1:22of sale that you're running or some sort of promotion that you're running or

1:25some sort of, you know, fast action bonus that you're running, right?

1:28You can create a button here, we'll go ahead and drag this down here, and the

1:32button is

1:32fully customizable, so let's just say, we'll just say go here just for, you

1:37know, argument purposes, right?

1:39And you can, like I said, you can change the color the way it is, you can

1:41change the opacity

1:42if you want to make it a little bit more see-through, if that works better on

1:46your background.

1:46A lot of these design elements are going to come with whatever you're putting

1:49the button on top of, obviously.

1:52You can round the corners, I kind of like the rounded corners, you can put a

1:54little border,

1:55I like adding maybe just like a little border, just gives it a little bit of

1:58like a 3D dimension,

1:59you can adjust the font size within there if you want to make the fonts bigger

2:02or smaller,

2:04you know, and then obviously some just like text line left right, vertical, all

2:07that kind of stuff, font color, all that kind of stuff can be adjusted, fully

2:13customizable, right?

2:14But really, the thing that matters the most here is the action that this button

2:17will take, where are these things going to go?

2:19You can actually, and we'll show you in a little bit of a later video on how to make

2:23this button to actually go to other videos that you have within StreamAge and within

2:28the same player, which is really cool, you start building out video funnels

2:32that way.

2:33But for this example, I'm going to show you that you can just essentially have

2:36it go to a URL, right, and you would type in the URL.

2:40So once you click the button, the button will then send you to wherever you

2:45want that button

2:46to send it to, whether that's you're running some sort of special and you want

2:49to send

2:49them to the order form or you have some information, maybe that you have that

2:52you're like wanting to give them access to that information.

2:56If you're, you know, have reports or something like that or some sort of

2:59article that you

3:00want to reference in a video, this will give your customer a reason to pay

3:03attention and

3:04to engage within your video makes it so much more powerful and really, really cool.

3:09I'm not going to run through every single one of these because I think a lot of

3:12these are pretty self-explanatory.

Text and Image Annotations

3:14The text one, you can just add text if you want right on top of the video.

3:17You can just drag this here, you know, you can adjust obviously the font size

3:21and all this good stuff within here.

3:23This is resizable so you can make it, you know, whatever this, whatever color

3:27you want, all that good stuff, right.

3:29So you can add in text if you want annotation, any of the annotation stuff

3:32means that it's a dismissible figure.

3:36So if you want, you can create text annotation, which is what this annotation

3:39is, or you can

3:40do an image annotation, which means that it's going to pop up on the screen and

3:43your person can click it away.

3:45So the person the viewer can click it away.

3:47If you just want to put something up there is like, hey, this is, you know, a

3:50reminder of this and click this to get rid of it if you want.

3:54If you put an image, image here, you can drag this right on here and it's going

3:59to actually put a full-scale image in here as well, which is really, really cool.

4:03I've done with this, I've done promotions where I've created flyers in Canva,

4:08like 50%

4:09off, or I've created like, when I was doing real estate, I would have like the

4:14house and I would have the MLS listing that it would essentially go to.

4:19So I'd put a picture of the house up there, I'd put like a picture of the

4:22report, the MLS

4:23report that they could click, they would click it, and then it would send them

4:26straight to

4:27that MLS listing, which was really, really cool, again, very interactive.

4:31So that's what the image does.

4:33Image annotation, obviously, I just said was, you can get rid of it.

Forced Social Media Sharing

4:37The share button here will basically force your viewer to share.

4:41So if you put this on here, it will give you this, okay, and this is going to

4:46essentially

4:46not allow anything else in your video to happen until somebody clicks one of

4:50these links.

4:51It's a very, like, very forced way of getting people to share your stuff, which

4:57could be

4:57really cool if you have really great information on the back end, and you want

5:01to go, "Hey,

5:01listen, the only thing I'm asking for you to do is to share this and I'll give

5:05you the information."

5:06You can post something like this in here, which will force people to share it

5:09to social media and get, obviously, your videos out there.

5:12So you have to have great information on the back end, but this is a really,

5:15really powerful feature as well.

5:17I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to delete a couple of these real quick,

5:20because otherwise

5:21it's going to start, I'm going to all start going crazy, and you can see I just

5:25delete that up there at the top there, delete this, all right.

Configuring Turnstyle Lead Capture

5:29Now I'm also going to show you here the turn style.

5:31Now the turn style is sort of a bread and butter feature.

5:34Again, on other platforms, or on other platforms, I should say, the turn style

5:38is one of those

5:39things that is really a high, like a high value item, because this is how you

5:43're going to be able to capture emails for people, all right.

5:47We're going to devote an entire lesson just to the turn style, because it's

5:49that powerful.

5:50I'm going to show you guys how to sort of collect data, collect names, and

5:54where those things go.

5:55But for this, I'm just going to show you how to implement it.

5:57So you basically just drag and drop the turn style, and this will pop up, and

6:02it will force

6:03your viewer to go through the turn style in order to continue on in the video.

6:08Now you can turn on, so I want to show you this, is it skippable, okay.

6:12I would highly recommend you really think through if you want to make it skipp

6:16able or

6:17not skippable, because if you make it skippable, it's something that will keep

6:21people going, keep people engaged.

6:24If you have something where it's like, you know, I got this really great report .

6:27If you're interested in that, let me know.

6:28I'm going to give you guys the opportunity to get that right now.

6:31You pop up the turn style, but you can let people skip by, because you don't

6:35want people

6:35putting in fake email addresses or giving you sort of like fake data, you know,

6:39if it's just something that you're just like, oh, it's just like a free report.

6:42Now, if you're doing something where you're like doing, hey, we're doing a

6:44serious like

6:45a lesson in everybody, the traffic that you're sending there, you need to

6:48capture their data

6:49in order for them to access it, that's sort of the requirement, then you make

6:53it not skippable, okay.

6:55Now it's your choice on, you can try both of these.

6:57I usually make mine skippable, but I think a lot of people would choose to make

7:00it not skippable.

7:02But again, that's your choice.

7:03So you're going through that, here you can capture name, first, last name, an

7:07email address.

7:08You can actually, you can also turn off if you don't want to capture the name,

7:11you just want the email address, but I don't know why you wouldn't want both.

7:13So I always leave that on.

7:16And then you also have the ability over here to go whether or not you just want

7:20it to

7:21repeat like once and once they've viewed the video, it'll never show it to them

7:24again.

7:25It'll show it to them every time until the email is collected here, you can

7:29show it to them every day.

7:30You set every 24 hours to that or every week or always, right?

7:35So I usually do it until the email is collected.

7:38Sometimes you can do it.

7:39I think a lot of people might just do it just once they show it to you and then

7:41it's like, all right, we've moved past the email collection.

7:43If you're not going to give me the email, then we don't need to keep showing that to

7:46you.

7:47Especially if you're doing like a VSL or something like that, maybe you just

7:49want to show it to

7:50a once and then like kind of move on from that and that's all captured in the

7:53back end with cookies.

7:55So they'll cookie them and it'll tell whether or not they've accessed it or not

7:57, which is really cool, okay.

7:59And then this title up top here at the very top is completely editable, edit

8:03able I should say, editable, yeah.

8:07You can change this to whatever you wanted to say, you can change the font size

8:09to whatever size you want that to be font style, font color, all that good stuff.

8:16All the text here is you can change, I don't want to try to say editable again,

8:21I think that was correct.

8:23And that's the turn style feature.

8:24Like I said, we'll go deeper into where that captures and how you can send that

8:27out to other things in another tutorial, okay.

8:31So that's going to be the turn style.

Quizzes and Chapters

8:32The quiz here is, I'm going to delete this real quick.

8:36The quiz is really almost like a more like a survey than it is a quiz.

8:40It's going to basically give you some questions and on the back end of this,

8:43you're basically

8:44able to send people in different directions based on how they answer that,

8:49which is really cool.

8:51So you can come in, you basically give them some options and then from there

8:54you can send them in different directions based on the way that they answer that.

8:58And then basic, this is just chapters here, all right, you can drop some

9:01chapters in here.

9:04And then the chapters you can edit on the back end and I'll show you how to do that

9:08as well in another tutorial, all right.

9:10So that's pretty much the interactive elements, you know, it's a quick, broad

9:15overview.

9:17Like I said, very, I think very straightforward, very simple.
