Platform Overview and Permissions

0:00Hi, this is Stream Agent, a video lead generation platform.

0:06Our videos capture leads and our single meta use case is sending those

0:09conversion events

0:10to the advertiser's own account through the conversions API so their campaigns

0:14can optimize on real leads.

0:17Ads management and business management are the permissions in use throughout

0:21this video.

0:22Pages show list and pages read engagement are requested only as meta's required

0:26dependencies of those two and have no standalone functionality in Stream Agent.

Meta Connection and Configuration

0:32I'll now show you the complete login flow and the full end-to-end user experience.

0:36I'm going to start by clicking on Connect meta.

0:39This is the standard Facebook login dialogue.

0:41I'll log in and you'll see the permissions being requested and granted.

0:45Improving this authorizes Stream Agent to access my ad accounts and business

0:56assets on my behalf.

1:15We're now connected and it's going to ask me to pick the pixel that I want to use.

1:40I'm going to use the Stream Agent pixel here that we have.

1:52Connection is now live.

1:53Stream Agent uses business management to list the data sets and ad accounts

1:57owned by my

1:58business so I can choose exactly where my conversion events should be delivered .

2:02I'm selecting my data set here and this is the only thing business management

2:07is used for.

Demonstrating the Lead Conversion Flow

2:08Next, we're going to go on to the actual use case.

2:11This is going to be one of my published interactive videos, the kind that a

2:14viewer will actually use and reach us from an ad.

2:18I'll watch it, I'll complete the lead form exactly as a prospect would.

2:48We're going to refresh this here and you can see 10 seconds ago, I was just

3:00converted as a lead, paused, passed the lead gate.

3:08All right.

3:09Now in Stream Agent, you can see the conversion in the delivery log.

3:12The event was sent server to server to meta's conversion API using the access

3:16granted in the login you just watched.

3:19You can see meta's response confirming the event was received.

3:24This is ad management in use, writing conversion events to the advertiser's

3:29data set.

Verifying Data in Meta Events Manager

3:30Next we're going to go over to the advertiser side, meta events manager.

3:33On the same data set I selected earlier, the lead and view content events for

3:38my session are going to be here, receive you the conversions API.

3:53You can see this was what we used earlier.

4:15Now there is a delay as you guys I'm sure are aware of, of 30 minutes to see an

4:19event to actually hit so I did a previous one a little earlier today just so you can

4:24see how it lands in the event manager.

4:28Down here you can see total events received, latest ones was an hour ago just

4:32because we had to warm it up and you can see this was the lead being logged as well.

Summary of Integration and Permissions

4:42All right.

4:43That's the complete end-to-end experience.

4:45At once and every conversion from your video flows into your account automatically.

4:50To summarize, ads management sends the conversion events, business management

4:54lets the user

4:55choose their ad account and data set and the two page permissions are requested

4:59solely as required dependencies with no functionality of their own.

5:03Thank you so much.
